Alamitos Vineyard
my cousin and his partner own and operate a vineyard out of San Jose, CA, named Alamitos Vineyards. they recruit artists in the family to design their wine labels for them- all of which relate to the endangered wildlife in the San Jose area.
as of now, I have designed the label for their 2021 Port wine, (featuring the Umunhum Touriga), the 2021 Cuvee (featuring the Napa Valley Scrub Jay), and an unreleased wine that features the winter Junco bird.

My Furry Valentine - every February
since 2012, My Furry Valentine has grown to become one of the largest animal adoption events in the country! more than 8,000 cats and dogs (and other companions) have found loving homes, and it takes place every February on the weekend before or after Valentine's day.
I volunteer and have run the merchandise table since the event started, and for MFV '24 I designed a new sweatshirt design.
I painted this on the wall of the dog room
at the Cleremont Animal County Shelter
spring '23 - Zumbiel Packaging
during this semester, I became familiar with the program ArtiosCAD and the Kongsberg machines used to cut the paperboard packages.
I also spent that time working on personal projects as well as rebuilding previous prototypes for portfolio projects.
packaging prototypes for my Javaville coffee set
side table made 100% from paper
(painted and covered with rope)
reusable wine box
I also designed the new 2023 Livewell notebooks
summer '22 - Livewell Collaborative
The Live Well Collaborative is a non-profit co-founded in 2007 by UC and Procter & Gamble. Each semester, an interdisciplinary studio project is co-led by a faculty team and expert advisors working with specially selected graduate and undergraduate teams to address an organization's opportunity.
semester project objectives:
Working with P&G, we took a look at understanding how the housing trends of today could create different home life futures of tomorrow.
We formulated new stories about how home life evolving will enable us to identify new Jobs To Be Done and breakthrough innovations for those jobs. Archetypes were then created based on prior interview responses.
-
Actively participate and contribute to product development and system design projects sponsored by P&G and Cincinnati Children's Hospital.
-
Work collaboratively with team members utilizing Live Well's development model and tools that focus on user-centered research that drives translation into solutions to meet user needs.

spring '22 - bowling gloves redesign
I love to bowl- but I also get much happiness from keeping my nails long and pointy. so you can imagine how often I tend to break a nail or two when I go out bowling.
for this project, we had to take a product and redesign it to make improvements. since a bowling glove designed to keep your nails from breaking does not exist, I combined two existing glove types to fit my design concept.
