personal project spring 2021

the spring semester of 2021 was our first co-op semester, but also the semester following the COVID craziness. unfortunately, i was unable to land myself a job, so i completed a self-led personal project instead.
for this project, i wanted to create a table that incorporated plants or greenery in some aspect.
ideation
using what materials i already had in my apartment, i began ideating possible table designs utilizing the wood pieces i had.
3d model renders
prototyping
going a completely different direction from the 3d models i'd done in fusion 360, i used a chop saw to cut the wood legs at an angle to be attached to one another.
having had to build the table within the perimeters of my apartment and utilize what i had lying around, i connected the pieces of the table using wood glue, screws, and whatever heavy objects i had.
